About 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder:
Stainless Steel 15-5 metal powder is widely used in 3D printing thin-walled devices and complex parts, hot and cold spraying, laser cladding, and biomedical fields. Stainless Steel 15-5 PH is a martensitic precipitated hardened stainless steel with good strength at temperatures up to 600°F(316°C), good corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, and good toughness in both longitudinal and transverse sections of the base metal and welds.
15-5PH stainless steel is a pre-alloyed fine powder stainless steel. This steel is characterized by good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, especially in the precipitation hardening state. This type of steel is widely used in metal prototyping and a variety of medical, aerospace and other engineering applications where high hardness, strength and corrosion resistance are required.
Unlike the commonly used 17-4ph alloys, the 15-5ph alloys have a slightly lower copper content and are designed to control copper loss in the furnace and reduce the final hardness after the furnace.17-4PH is most widely used precipitation hardening alloy in metal injection molding. One of the potential disadvantages of 17-4PH is the tendency of Cu to evaporate during sintering. This may result in the need to clean the furnace regularly to avoid cross-contamination in some cases. To some extent, it is with these aspects in mind that the current study on 15-5pH was initiated.
Stainless steel at 15-5 pH is a martensitic precipitate-hardened stainless steel containing 15% chromium and 5% nickel. It has high strength, high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. The strength can be further enhanced by low-temperature heat treatment. Compared with 17-4 pH, it has better lateral toughness and ductility; It has better mechanical properties and better malleability in a larger section. It welds easily. It can be used at this level under any number of thermal conditions. Feel free to send an inquiry to get the latest price if you would like to buy 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder in bulk.

How is 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder produced?
The 15-5PH stainless steel is an improvement of the 17-4PH developed in the 1960s. The finer microstructure was obtained by remelting process. This delicate construction enhances the toughness of the material. It also has low-temperature hardening, good manufacturing performance, and excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for many industries. It can be processed in a solution annealing state or final heat treatment state. Heating at different temperatures can improve the strength and ductility of the material.
15-5PH stainless steel can be processed under any available conditions. First, the alloy formed slightly under the condition of averaging. It is then welded using welding techniques such as protective fusion or resistance method. The material was heat-treated at 1038°C(1900°F) for 1/2 h and then cooled by air. This is followed by hot working, annealing at 1038°C(1900°F) for 1 h, and finally, cold working to improve the yield strength of the alloy.

Applications of 3D Printing Powder 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder:
15-5PH stainless steel May be used to resolving or heating treatment conditions to obtain treatment for various properties. Can be processed in a variety of attainable conditions, but H1150m such conditions can have the best service life.
Applications: aerospace, aircraft parts, components manufacturing and other equipment.
Here are some other applications of 15-5 pH grade stainless steels:
The marine gas turbine compressor section
Hollow shaft,
Papermill equipment
Engine parts
Aircraft parts
gear
Fittings and fasteners
Nuclear reactor assembly
Aerospace structural components
The valve
The gear and shaft
Oil and gas components
Nuclear reactor assembly

Storage Condition of 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder:
The damp reunion will affect 15-5 powder dispersion performance and using effects, therefore, 15-5 stainless steel powder should be sealed in vacuum packing and stored in cool and dry room, the 15-5 stainless steel powder can not be exposure to air. In addition, the Ti2AlC powder should be avoided under stress.

Packing & Shipping of 15-5 Stainless Steel Powder:
We have many different kinds of packing which depend on the 15-5 stainless steel powder quantity.
15-5 stainless steel powder packing:vacuum packing, 100g, 500g or 1kg/bag, 25kg/barrel, or as your request.
15-5 stainless steel powder shipping: could be shipped out by sea, by air, by express, as soon as possible once payment receipt.
